Description

"This great black nothing calls me
An echo of the voices from where I have been traveling
In exile I´m living
Infinite silence waiting for me with all its answers
A lightless mirror blazing oh with truth so pure

This is my last transmission, my final salutation
I count down to ignition, one last time I´m rising
The stars are all I think of, for me it’s never enough
Their cold bliss is my resource to find myself"

Despite all her infamous toughness and resourcefulness and attitude that makes fans either love her or hate her, I actually find Carbine to be a really tragic character.  She is forever bound to a destiny she really cannot escape from nor turn from and in the end, she will probably end up sacrificing everything to fulfill it.  I don't think any of the many Martian nations or even those of the other planetary populations truly realize what she has given up to ensure their survival.

In this image, she turns to give the viewer a 'last look' over her shoulder.  Is she sad?  Is she weary?  Is she somewhat complacent or at peace with a decision she has made?  That is up to you, dear viewer.

I very rarely draw on the tablet ( because I'm not very good at it XD and  I prefer pencil and paper )  but this is a rare tablet doodle from myself.  It was drawn while simultaneously on the phone and in livestream with :iconsuicidecommando-rp: as a little giftie as he had a monster headache and I'm sure me yammering in his ear wasn't helping any XD.

"Take care of each other...and ride free, Throttle.." She gave him a sad yet brave smile.

(Then she does something very heroic, at the cost of her own life.)
