Falling like the Fahrenheit

Have had this album on repeat at work lately ( took me awhile to fully embrace it since I'm still suffering from I-miss-Khan Syndrome ) and it inspired me to draw this.

Carver holding his sister Cutter, whom was beaten to death by his brother-in-law ( you can read more about it on the other pics I already posted of Carver ). I suppose I could have drawn her far more bloodied than the bruises I put on her, but I didn't want to make the pic gruesome. I wanted the emotion of it to carry through stronger.

I'm actually quite happy with the way this turned out. I drew it pretty large, and when I draw large, I struggle with proportions because my eye has to 'roam' the paper. I had originally only planned for it to be maybe a chest-up image of the two of them, but then eventually decided to tackle making it a full-bodied image. Because once again, I make this sh*t up as I go along, this is drawn on two pieces of paper taped together because I ran out of room XD And actually, making it full-bodied forced me to tackle my ARCH-nemesis.....feet! ( har har, I see what you did thar ). No, seriously, some people struggle with drawing hands, mine has always been feet. XD

I love sketches and was originally just gonna leave it as one, but the characters are so entangled I figured I better put some color on it, and I'm glad I did.
